Terms and conditions of sale

This website is the property of the company NASSAY in its entirety, together with all associated rights. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without the prior and express written authorisation of www.Serenhome.co.uk.

1. Acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale

The customer acknowledges, prior to placing an order, having read and accepted these general terms and conditions of sale. Any special conditions of sale contained in other documents shall be deemed void unless expressly accepted in writing by Serenhome.

These general terms and conditions of sale govern the contractual relationship between Serenhome.co.uk and the customer, both parties accepting them without reservation.

2. Products

Products offered for sale are sanitary equipment and bathroom fittings manufactured by our suppliers. Orders are accepted within the limits of available stock. In the event of unavailability, Serenhome shall inform the customer and reserves the right to cancel or substitute items.

3. Orders

  • Orders may only be placed directly on the Serenhome.co.uk website.
  • An order is considered firm and final only upon receipt of payment in full.
  • Serenhome reserves the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom there exists a dispute concerning payment or prior orders.
  • The customer is responsible for the accuracy of information provided when placing the order. Serenhome cannot be held liable if delivery proves impossible due to an error in the recipient’s details (e.g. name, address, phone number).

4. Delivery

  • Deliveries are carried out within the timeframes indicated at the time of order.
  • For in-stock products, dispatch is typically 24 to 48 hours. For out-of-stock or replenishment products, delivery is expected within 20 to 25 working days.
  • In the event of a delivery delay, the customer will be notified by email or telephone.
  • If the delay exceeds 30 days, the customer has the right to cancel the order and obtain a full refund.
  • Delivery charges are specified at the time of order.

5. Price

  • Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP), inclusive of all applicable taxes.
  • VAT is applied at the prevailing UK rate on the day of order.
  • Serenhome reserves the right to modify prices at any time, it being understood that products will be invoiced at the rate in effect at the time of order confirmation.
  • Payment is due in full at the time of order.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

  • In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act and UK consumer regulations, the customer has a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of delivery of the goods.
  • Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by all accessories and documentation.
  • The cost of return shipping is borne by the customer unless the return is due to a proven fault by Serenhome (e.g. defective product, error in delivery).
  • Serenhome will issue a refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using the same payment method employed by the customer.

7. Payment

Payment methods accepted:

  • Debit/credit card
  • Bank transfer
  • PayPal

No other payment method will be accepted unless expressly agreed by Serenhome. Orders not paid within 7 days will be automatically cancelled.

8. Applicable law

These terms and conditions are governed by UK law. In the event of a dispute, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts of the United Kingdom.

9. Liability

Serenhome cannot be held responsible for:

  • Non-performance or improper performance of the contract attributable to the customer.
  • Unforeseeable or unavoidable actions of a third party.
  • Force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, accidents, fire, etc.).

Furthermore, Serenhome is not liable for any indirect damages such as loss of business, loss of revenue, or any other consequential damages that could arise from the purchase of its products.

10. Warranty

All products sold are covered by:

  • The legal guarantee of conformity as provided by UK consumer law.
  • The statutory guarantee against hidden defects.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage due to misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance.
  • Damage caused by external factors (accident, fire, water damage, electrical fault, etc.).
  • Normal wear and tear of the product.

11. Mediation and Dispute resolution

In accordance with UK consumer law, the customer has the right to seek mediation free of charge in the event of a dispute. Serenhome undertakes to provide the customer with the details of an approved mediator upon request.
