Square or round countertop basin: what differences in comfort and volume?

Our round countertop basins entice with their soft lines and the sensation of visual lightness they bring. However, their circular shape naturally reduces the usable space inside the basin.

Conversely, our square countertop basins generally offer a more generous volume of water thanks to their often larger dimensions and their angular design. The straight lines and angles allow for optimising the interior space and obtaining a larger and more comfortable surface for daily use. Square models are therefore particularly appreciated in bathrooms where comfort of use is a priority, particularly for family installations or large vanity units.

The choice between the two therefore depends as much on the sought-after style as on the desired comfort of use.

The installation of a countertop basin raises the point of contact with water compared to a recessed model. This configuration requires the use of a tall tap (high spout) or a concealed wall-mounted mixer.

Although our countertop basins are delivered with their waste, you can replace the original one with a waste (with or without overflow, depending on the chosen basin model) in the finish of your choice (black, chrome, brass, etc.). This allows you to precisely match your drainage system to your countertop basin tap for a coordinated look down to the smallest details.
